Krikor Hamel was born in Sao Paolo. He studied architecture at "L'Institut des Beaux-Arts de Paris",
Specialized in animation, he directed 5 full length films at Gaumont, series and pilots at Walt Disney France, and advertisements. He also shot documentary films for french TV, winning awards such as “Best Report”.
He wrote, produced and directed “ Paradjanov: Le Dernier Collage” a full length documentary-fiction shown at Cannes starring Robert Hossein, Jean Luc Godard, Marina Vlady, Tonino Guerra, Ardavazt Pelechian and Sergei Paradjanov.
He founded "LE MAGAZINE DES COMMERÇANTS", which he is now publishing and directing.
